Today’s the final day. The Glee tour is coming to a close with it’s last stop back “home” in Los Angeles. They’ll be at Hollywood & Highland, signing posters and answering questions. In the morning, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz and Amber Riley were on Power 106 FM. Also, Cory Monteith and Lea Michele appeared on Good Day LA. Here’s some video of them in the Fox 11 studio. Eager young cast cheering on Fox’s super-promoted new musical, “Glee”

So far, on their 10-city promotional tour for Fox’s “Glee,” the show’s cast has lost sleep, geographic bearings — and more than a few belongings.

Cory Monteith, who plays hunky but naive Finn, lost his Kindle.
Amber Riley, who plays larger-than-life Mercedes, lost her bank card.
Dianna Agron, who is deliciously nasty as head cheerleader Quinn, lost her camera.
And Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays an angry Goth named Tina Cohen-Chang, lost her Nintendo DS.

They’re not irresponsible high-schoolers. They just play them on TV.

Seven “Glee” cast members passed through Denver briefly last week, greeting fans at a mall and talking up the show for the local Fox outlet.

They’re due to be in Australia for the series’ premiere two weeks after its debut here. Clearly the marketing whirl is new to most of them. They are just beginning to understand that the amount of energy and money Fox is putting into the launch of this show is something special. Never has a network groomed a hit so intently.

At lunch in Denver they discussed how they are like and unlike their characters, what music they listen to, the genius of the show’s creator Ryan Murphy (“Nip/Tuck,” “Popular”) and how they replay certain of castmate Jane Lynch’s on-screen facial expressions admiring her comic acting.

Today, the cast stops in Texas for a second time, this time in Dallas. The cast will be at the Dallas Galleria mall and will be doing the usual signing and Q&A. This morning Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale and Amber Riley were on Kidd Kraddick, a local radio show. Also, Chris Colfer, Dianna Agron and Mark Salling stopped by the Fox 4 studio to be on Good Day Dallas. It’s interesting to learn that Mark Salling was originally from North Texas. :)

Once again, the Glee tour is stopping at Hot Topic to sign posters and answer questions. This time, it’s at the Houston Galleria mall in Houston, TX. Today, the Glee cast visited Minneapolis for the 6th stop in The Gleek Tour. They were at the Mall of America, a Minneapolis mall complete with roller coasters and an aquarium. From the Mall of America‘s official YouTube channel, we have this vid with coverage of the event. Enjoy!

The Glee tour stopped for a 5th time, this time in Chicago! They appeared at Orland Square to sign autographs and answer questions. In the morning, they were on Good Day Chicago with David Viggiano. Here’s a video of Lea Michele and Kevin McHale at the Fox station.

Today’s stop was at Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, VA – right outside DC. I was personally at this stop, so I will be writing up a report with all my pics, vids and details! Next on the Glee tour’s list of stops is the King of Prussia Mall in Philadelphia. Melody, from the Glee podcast – Gleek Squad, will be tweeting throughout the day as she goes to the mall event. You might want to follow her for more details, @GleekSquad.
Here is an interview with Amber Riley and Chris Colfer that was on Good Day Philadelphia. As always, we will try to keep you updated throughout the day. (On a personal note, tomorrow I will be visiting DC for the Glee stop there!)

For the second stop of the Glee tour, the cast is going to be at Garden State Plaza, a mall in Paramus, NJ, near NYC. Again, the cast is spending their mornings at each location doing press junkets. In possibly related new, Chris Colfer told me: “Well, right now I’m sitting on a window ledge hoping the glass I’m leaning on doesn’t break. Is that blog worthy?” XD
