Check out this video from Access Hollywood in which Naya speaks from the heart on her experience with the lesbian storyline, reactions from fans, and her appreciation. She also talks about Gloria Estefan, who, as we posted earlier, has been cast to play her mother! Watch below:
What do you think? Are you pumped to see Gloria Estefan?
The first pictures of Glee Project winner Damian McGinty‘s character, an Irish exchange student named Rory Flanagan, have popped up on TV Guide! This will be the first of his seven-episode arc, beginning November 1st.
“I am having the time of my life,” he reports. “Rory is living with Brittany, who thinks he is her own personal leprechaun only she can see. “ Sounds like Brittany alright!
Although he will receive an overall warm welcome, not everyone will be pleased with this newbie. “He does a little falsetto in his first song, and Kurt did not like that because Kurt’s the soprano of the group and doesn’t want that taken from him,” says Chris Colfer. At least they’ll still have a soprano when Kurt graduates, right?
Meanwhile, in lesbi-land, Santana (Naya Rivera) “quietly is in love with Brittany,” says Damian, “so she doesn’t like Rory because he also has a thing for Brittany.” Sounds like trouble for Brittana! “We just did a fun scene in Brittany’s bedroom,” says Damian.
So, what do you think of Damian’s character? Are you excited to see his arc? Post in the comments!
Kristin Dos Santos of E! Online has a new Spoiler Chat where she dishes on the future of Kurt and Blaine, Santana’s sexuality, the upcoming episode “Night of Neglect” and even a new casting spoiler!
ammysin: Anything new on Blaine/Kurt on Glee? Can’t get enough of those two! Neither can we. That’s why we were so psyched when Darren Criss told us that Blaine and Kurt (Chris Colfer) have real staying power. “They’re in the honeymoon stage, and they’ve just recently gotten together, so that’s really new and exciting like any new relationship is,” he says to us. “I think [Blaine] has something really special with Kurt. It’s not just a flash in the pan kind of crush.”
Bagelsvswaffles: True or false: Tina from Glee has some kind of storyline coming up?
True. In fact, the “Night of Neglect” episode is all about those New Directions members who haven’t been in the spotlight in awhile. “It’s about people who have been neglected, and now they have the opportunity to show what they’ve got,” Harry Shum Jr. tells us. Who has been on your Glee neglected list that you hope will soon get some serious screen time?
kec0309: I need more #Glee scoop! What can we expect when Jonathan Groff returns as Jesse St. James?
Even though our first assumption would be that Jesse is returning to woo Rachel, he has another motive up his sleeve (which is most likely a leather jacket sleeve, of cours). But don’t worry, Jesse’s motive isn’t evil. He’s just trying to help out a friend. But even if his motive was evil, who cares? The Groff is back! YELYAHbosco: There is lots of speculation about Glee‘s Santana and her sexuality, any scoop on her upcoming storyline?
“She’s definitely a lesbian,” Brad Falchuk tells us, forever putting to rest the question of her sexuality. Now that we cleared that up, Santana won’t be over Brittany anytime soon, so instead of dealing with it, she kind of runs from it. And she’ll be running into the arms of…a dude.
Maggie in Lexington, Ky.: Glee, por favor!
The bosses over at Glee are looking to cast someone to play Jarod, a high school student with Down syndrome. Perhaps he’ll have some kind of relationship with Becky (Lauren Potter)?
I now present to you, a HUGE HUGE round-up of every Season 2 spoiler you could ever need in your life! If you haven’t been keeping track of all the interviews, press events, panels, and just general hype, have no fear! This post is brought to you by TheGLEEkSpot’s tumblr, with the latest news added!
New Characters:
Kurt gets a boyfriend. An “everyday guy.” He’s going to be struggling with his sexuality and Kurt is going to help him through this. Ryan wants them to be prom king and prom king. This plot line is apparently delayed past the first few episodes.*
A christian country singer (a la Carrie Underwood) is supposed to come on. No word on how big this role is going to be. She’s also supposed to have a pretty big problem with Kurt and his boyfriend being gay.
Sam Elliot will be played by Chord Overstreet. Sam is a football player. Finn will take Sam under his wing, and will utlimately become Finn’s rival. He will also have a special relationship with Quinn.
Mercedes gets a love interest, too. A “male version of herself” (Can you say killer duets?)
Charice will be guest starring as a foreign exchange student and a rival to Rachel. Her character, Sunshine, will start out very small but as the season progresses she will get bigger. Charice starts filiming on July 28th with the rest of the cast, so she will be in the first episode.
Dot Jones will playing Shannon Beiste (pronounced BEEST) the new football coach, replacing Ken Tanaka, who will no longer be on Glee.
Cheyenne Jackson will be replacing Idina Menzel’s role as the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline. This will be a major, recurring role.
John Stamos will have a recurring role as Emma’s dentist boyfriend.
Javier Bardem will appear as a rock star who befriends Artie. “We’re going to rock the house,” the 41-year-old Gleek tells EW. “We’re going to do some heavy metal — Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst.”
Comedy legend Carol Burnett is said to be in the works for the role of Sue Sylvester’s Nazi-hunting mother. Nothing is confirmed yet, but really, how could they pass up Carol Burnett?
*They’re saying that Sam Elliot is NOT Kurt’s boyfriend. Our theory? They’re pulling back on all the hype so Sam can have a surprise “coming out” moment. The same way Idina being Rachel’s mother was a surprise.
We have some sneak peeks for the next episode of Glee, “Laryngitis“, where a lot of things get shaken up. Here’s a bit of a teaser description from the official Fox press release:

Ausiello‘s back with his exclusive Glee spoilers – this time, bearing some great news on the Will/Emma/Terri love triangle, further elaboration on Molly Shannon’s character, and FINALLY some closure on the Quinn pregnancy arc! READ BELOW, or Click here to read the original article!
Question: Have any Glee scoop on the Will/Emma/Terri triangle? —Ashley
Ausiello: Not just scoop, Ashley, but juicy scoop. As Matthew Morrison reminds us, his character “got married to his high school sweetheart, [so having] not been single for a very long time, I think he will get out there and see what is available to the single man these days.” That’s just the beginning! “I think we will see a little bit of a darker side to Mr. Schuster,” the actor continues. “He’s going to get himself into some situations that he has not been in before, and some he handles well and some… not.” Which is not to say that Mr. Nice Guy is about to become a complete ladies’ man. “His heart is really with Emma,” he hastens to add. “They will go on a few dates. [But] you just don’t get over a marriage in a few days, even if you do go out on dates.” Besides, Emma, sweet as she is, is a handful. “Terri is crazy, but he will come to find out that Emma is just as crazy, just in a different way,” Morrison teases. “He has that realization after she admits something to him that may stand in their way a little. And [on top of that] his ties to Terri are still there.” In related news…
Question: Glee scoop, please? —Dew
Ausiello: Word around William McKinley is that there will be some serious sexual tension between Will and Vocal Adrenalin’s new choir director, played by Idina Menzel.
Question: Do you know when Molly Shannon will be making her glorious Glee debut? I can’t wait to meet the woman who makes Sue Sylvester cry. —Michelle
Ausiello: She turns up in May and promptly “puts Sue in her place,” Jane Lynch told us at PaleyFest ‘10. “She’s probably the only person probably on the planet that can overpower Sue. She really puts her off balance and she doesn’t know what to make of her.” Echoing my initial scoop, Lynch says the SNL vet plays “this floozy alcoholic [named] Brenda Castle who got kicked out of her old school district for being inappropriate with her students. She’s teaching at our school now. Of course, we hired her. We’ll take anyone apparently. I lose it in front of her. She’s meaner than me. I like being intimidated. I’m an S&M kind of person so I love it. I love being on the M side.” Jane Lynch FTW!
Question: Will Quinn have her baby in the first half of Glee’s “back nine” episodes, or is it something they’ll drag on until next season? —Natalie
Ausiello: Let me say this: I hear the the show’s June 8 season finale really delivers.
Michael Ausiello of EW.com’s The Ausiello Files spoke with Ryan Murphy just moments before Glee‘s Golden Globe win! Maybe Murphy had been sipping on the champagne all evening, because he lot a LOT of spoilers slip! Here’s what he had to say about two of the new characters they’re going to cast and which celebs they’d like to have on the show!
* Kurt’s gonna get lucky. “We just announced we’re doing a nationwide search for the season 2 cast, and [a boyfriend for Kurt is] one of the three roles that we’re adding. And we’re going to make them a power couple. We’re not going to do the whole hiding in the shadows thing. We’re going to make them popular, and out and proud and glamorous. Like prom king and king. We’re doing the opposite of what’s been done.” But wait, there’s more: “We’re also casting sort of a Eve Harrington [from All About Eve] to kind of steal Rachel’s thunder a little. So those are two of the three.”
* He’s gonna keep us seeing stars. “We got Olivia [Newton-John],” he recounts. “She’s going to come on and do ‘Physical’ with Jane Lynch. Jennifer Lopez wants to do the show, so I’m going to meet with her. In the past couple of months, a lot of people are coming out saying they love the show and would I meet with them and write something. But I don’t want to stunt-cast too much, because I think the [musical] numbers are already so extravagant. If I do Jennifer, I would want her to be, like, a lunch lady. And [exec producer] Brad Falchuk? s obsessed with having Bruce Springsteen on the show, so I’m sure we’ll go after him at some point.”

Update: I talked to a source at Fox and they confirmed that Jennifer Lopez HAS accepted the offer to be a cafeteria lunch lady on Glee. I wish J Lo was a lunch lady at my school!
Here’s a preview for the next episode of Glee, “Wheels”. It doesn’t come on until Nov. 11th… I don’t think I can wait that long! Can you? Three weeks without Glee should constitute as cruel and unusual punishment. In the mean time, keep checking back for more news and videos! :)
Update: There are some fun spoilers for the episode posted after the jump. [Read the rest...]
So here are a couple of Glee spoilers! The first is from EW’s Ask Ausiello and the second from TVGuide.com. Also, I left off the last sentence of the second spoiler because it was so spoilery that even I couldn’t post here in good conscience. In order to see it, make sure that you click “Read the rest…”
Question: Will Glee introduce Lea’s mom? Wouldn’t it be cool if it turned out to be Idina Menzel? Just a thought. –Wendy
Ausiello: I like the way your mind works. Unfortunately, there are no immediate plans to bring on Lea’s mom. We don’t even meet her dads in the first 13 episodes.
I can’t wait for Glee to start again! Any scoop? — Julianne MICKEY: Question for you, Julianne. Are you as sick of the “Single Ladies” choreography as jokey Internet meme (see: here, here, here and here) as I am? That’s too bad for both of us, because it’s the inspiration for an entire episode in which Kurt joins the football team. (more…)
GleekMaryP: I'm going to do a daily photo via Instagram, starting tomorrow & I'm going to try and do this for a year (or longer). Also, I made it home! 17 hours ago from Tweetbot for iPhone
