Airing during the spring premiere on April 10, Glee will cover the indie smash hit by Gotye, “Somebody That I Used to Know.” The infectious single from Belgium-Australian singer-songwriter will be covered by Blaine and his brother, played by Matt Bomer. The song has been transformed from a heartbreak-ridden duet to an ode to a classic sibling rivalry between the two brothers.
We have some sneak peeks for the next episode of Glee, “Laryngitis“, where a lot of things get shaken up. Here’s a bit of a teaser description from the official Fox press release:
When a sore throat affects Rachel’s singing voice, she goes into panic mode. Concerned that Sue is up to no good, Will pays a visit to an instructor of a competing Glee Club (guest star Eve) to see what information Sue may be leaking, which leads to the club getting a look at their hair-rising competition. Meanwhile, Kurt gives Rachel a makeover to impress Finn, but he may have ulterior motives in the all-new “Hairography” episode of GLEE airing Wednesday, Nov. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Here’s a preview for next week’s episode, “Ballads”. In order to get the Glee club members to express feelings they can’t otherwise get out, Mr. Schuester decides to pair them up to sing their favorite ballads. But when Rachel’s partner gets sick, Mr. Schuester steps in for him and finds himself in an awkward position. Then Finn meets Quinn’s parents (guest stars Gregg Henry and Charlotte Ross) for dinner, and they aren’t too pleased with his interpretation of the ballad he selected.
