Good news, American Gleeks… Prepare for Glee Live! 2011! The Glee cast will be going on another concert tour this summer following the massive success of their tour last summer. While the amount of cities has grown, most of them only have one performance. Why? This year they won’t be in medium-sized venues like last summer, but massive arenas. Get ready for a live Glee experience like never before.
More good news, if you’re a fan of Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet, they too will be joining in on the fun this summer. The show will feature new songs from Season Two, as well as some of our favorites from Season One. (Dont Stop Believin’, anyone?) Speaking as someone who attended last year, this event is not to be missed. I can only use one word to describe it: epic.

Are you too poor to afford scalped tickets to Glee Live? Are you constantly made fun of for your frilly, damaged hair and wish you had luscious locks like Matthew Morrison? Weep no more, fellow Gleeks!

Dove Hair Care was generous enough to send me, Tinkers, four products to try out. As you can probably tell from our way old Glee Cast Interviews video, I’m in DESPERATE need of some hair damage control (that’s what I get for riding in my sister’s convertible all the time). I love how silky-smooth Dove makes my hair. And no, I’m not just saying that! It’s a shampoo fit for any Gleek.
For a chance to win some of these awesome prizes, hop on over to the Dove slot machine game, where you get 3 chances every day to win a prize. Simply enter your email and watch the machine decide on a DVD, the soundtrack, God-sent Dove conditioner, or maybe even a season pass!

Glee Live ticket holders, prepare to get gLeeXD! If you follow the other projects of the Glee cast members, then you’ve probably already heard about the League of Extraordinary Dancers, aka LXD. Harry Shum Jr., who plays the “other Asian”, Mike Chang, announced through Twitter that his two projects would come together when LXD hits the road and opens for the Glee concert tour! We put LXD’s announcement video below, but make sure to check out videos of their performances if you haven’t seen them already!
Been itching for details on the tour?! Thanks to the ever-faithful Entertainment Weekly, wait no longer!
The tour will feature 15 to 18 musical numbers, all connected by a plot line involving New Directions’ rivalry with the cut-throat glee clubbers, Vocal Adrenaline. Ryan Murphy tells EW, “We made a decision to do our biggest hits because that’s what fans want to see. It’s a concert tour but it also has a story in it.”
So, what about these musical numbers? Apparently, in addition to the star’s costume designer, Glee has also managed to nab Lady Gaga’s SET designer for the concert tour! “It’s a huge stage. We’ve got multimedia. It’s really big.” Says Murphy. “Fox believes in it so much that they’ve hired the best people. It’s not about going out and selling out a lot of dates and making a lot of money. In fact, we won’t make any money with this first tour because we’ve put so much money into the set design. It’s really just a great thank you to our fans.”
