Update: Well, the premiere has come and gone. It was pretty awesome, wouldn’t you agree? Check out this article to see how well it did in terms of ratings:

Tonight’s the night! Glee will premiere with an all new episode at 9/8c pm! In “Showmance“, the Glee club has to perform a song at an assembly in hopes that it will help them get more recruits. Tonight (9/2/09), Fox will air the Director’s Cut of the Pilot episode of Glee. Make sure to tune into your local Fox station at 9/8c pm. Also you might want to set your DVR a few minutes early since it is starting at 8:58pm ET/PT in order to fit in those additional scenes.
Contest: We are giving away a copy of the Director’s Cut of the Pilot on DVD! On the DVD are a few bonus features with the cast and crew as well as a sneak peak at the new episode, Showmance! Also, there is a card with a special code so that you can receive a FREE Glee t-shirt from gleetshirtoffer.com.
All you have to do to win the copy is watch the Pilot when it airs and leave a comment on this post with your favorite quote! The contest will be open until Sept. 3rd 11:59 PST (2:59am EST) and then we will contact the winners on the morning of the 4th.
