Season 4 is already shaping up to be a smash when it returns to our screens on September 13th, but incase you’re too excited to wait, here’s some spicy spoilers of what to expect from a new year with your old favorites. If you prefer to remain spoiler free, then stop reading… NOW!
When Glee takes it’s new Thursday spot this September, Kate Hudson will grace our TV sets as Rachel’s hard-ass, take-no-prisoners, NYADA dance instructor. In an interview with TVGuide’s, William Keck, Lea Michele explained:
“Dance is not Rachel’s strong point, but as a freshman it’s a requirement class she has to take,” Michele says. “It will put Rachel in a very vulnerable place, stuck with a teacher who doesn’t make it easy for her.”
As for Rachel’s, (now ex) boyfriend, Finn, it looks like he really is heading off to Army boot camp, and Cory Monteith is working hard this summer to stay in shape for the role. He tells Keck:
“Finn would have to be in very good shape and get incredibly fit, meaning I would have to be incredibly fit,” says the actor. “I’m doing extra stuff this summer — CrossFit and fewer Snickers bars.”
And as for Kurt, he WILL make it to New York, however, not as a student in the performing arts. Chris Colfer shared that his character will find himself in an establishment, under the management of one familiar New York face, Sarah Jessica Parker. It’s rumored that Parker’s character will be giving Rachel a complete makeover, which suggests Kurt may find himself at home in the fashion industry.
It’ll be curious to see how Rachel’s coping with her separation from Finn, when the show returns. Not to mention, what’s in store for the other Glee kids. Where would you like to see your favorite character end up?
