Glee Flashmob at Ohio State University
On May 3rd, 2010 at around 12:35 PM, students and staff of Ohio State broke out into dance in the great hall of the new Ohio Union. I think this may be my favorite Glee flashmob to date!
Ohio State is officially the Gleekiest college in the USA. WIN!

This was the most fun project I have ever worked on! Our planning fully encompassed the elements of the Glee Show! First of all, Glee takes place in Lima, Ohio – Of course we used the Glee version of Don’t Stop Believing for an Ohio State Flash Mob!
Second, to keep the rehearsals a secret, the secret code word was Mr. Scheuster. (Later becoming our team name)
Third, the fun spirit of this show truly added to our experience!
I am so glad we were able to make this vision a reality and bring smiles to faces across the world!

P.S. The following night we had a viewing party called “Glee with Gee” where we invited all of the students from Lima, Ohio to watch the Glee episode with our University President Dr. Gee. We also celebrated our successful performance during commercial breaks!

Being an OSU Alum I was IMPRESSED with the Flashmob showcasing Our Students, The New OHIO Union but also the Spirit of OSU that radiates down from President Gee. Very few College President’s have more enthusiasm and support of it’s Community than Dr. Gee.
