Damian McGinty Staying on Glee Past Original 7 Episode Arc

Rory fans rejoice! Marc Malkin of E! News was present at Trevor Live tonight and tweeted that Damian McGinty, who plays foreign exchange student Rory Flanagan, will be staying past his planned 7 episode arc he received from winning The Glee Project.  It is unknown whether Lindsay Pearce, who won a two episode arc, will be returning to the show after this week’s episode which is said to be her last.

  4. I am so happy that Damian is staying (hopefully a long time). I’m disappointed that he is not singing much. I’ve never heard such a magnificent baratone voice!

  6. When we be able to get a good solo for Damian? Just saw Celtic Thunder Christmas and was amazed at all their voices, including Mr. Baritone Damian!

  8. This is the 1st fan report that I’ve read and it’s right in line with what I’d expect from Dakota. From the movie’s trailer, and what I’ve read, I would most likely not be interested in this film if Dakota weren’t in a lead role. But, like “Hounddog”, maybe I’ll even like the movie when I finally see it (hopefully via iTunes). Who knows, perhaps the Cherie Currie role will replace Lewellen as my
    favorite performance

  9. Although I was not a big fan of Lindsey on the Glee Project I have had a total change of heart after seeing her preform her 2 episodes… I want to see more of the Gerber Baby…..

  10. I love Damian Mcginty and I love Rory Flangan. Thanks for the great news but do you know if he’s going to be a permanent character. I just read somewhere *SPOILER ALERT* that Rory applies for a visa to stay at Mckinley for another year but is denied!!! NOOOO
