Gleeks have done it again! When it comes to voting, you all own the polls. Last night at the People’s Choice Awards, Miss Rachel Berry took home the award for Favorite TV Comedy Actress. Lea looked gorgeous as she accepted her award and said:
“I want to dedicate this to my amazing cast, my ‘Glee’ club. You are my family and my best friends. I’m an only child and now I have 11 other siblings.”
You can watch her full acceptance speech below. Congratulations Lea!
Check out this video from Access Hollywood in which Naya speaks from the heart on her experience with the lesbian storyline, reactions from fans, and her appreciation. She also talks about Gloria Estefan, who, as we posted earlier, has been cast to play her mother! Watch below:
What do you think? Are you pumped to see Gloria Estefan?
Get the stockings and ugly sweaters ready for Tuesday’s all new Christmas themed episode! To get everyone in the holiday spirit, the Glee Vevo account uploaded two performances from the episode called “Extraordinary Merry Christmas.”
In my opinion, the performances are great and definitely put me in a cheerful mood. I can’t wait for the holidays to arrive!
Here is “All I Want For Christmas Is You” sung by the incredible Amber Riley.
Also, here is “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” which features the entire glee club!
Sunday night I had the amazing opportunity to attend The Trevor Project’sTrevor Live 2011 as a member of the press for GleeFan.com. For those of you who don’t know what Trevor Live is, it’s a charity event which aims to raise awareness and garner support for LGBTQ youth. This year’s Trevor Live was a celeb studded event that was jam packed with skits, appearances, and performances from artists and actors spanning from Amy Poehler to Lady Gaga to Glee’sAmber Riley and Darren Criss.
On the day the event was hosted, I arrived at the Hollywood Palladium unsure of what to expect. This was my first time ever doing something of this magnitude. How does a red carpet work? Would I actually get to interview anyone? My questions were immediately answered once I checked in. I obtained my media pass and was directed towards GleeFan’s reserved spot on the red carpet. It was very cramped as all the press were only allotted a foot an a half of space each! The press to my right was Billboard.com and the media on my left was the official Trevor Project documentary! Not gonna lie, at first it was really intimidating, but as the day progressed, everything became more comfortable. Everyone in our corner was really friendly and we all shared tips and scoop! It was crazy!
The red carpet was very fast paced and combined with our less than stellar red carpet location, it was difficult to actually engage in interviews with many of the Glee Cast. By the time they reached our portion of the press line, their publicists would whisk them inside the theater. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to be able to conduct interviews with Dianna Agron, Kevin McHale, Adam Anders, Damian McGinty, and Cameron Mitchell.
Below is Dianna’s and Kevin’s interviews. Dianna discusses topics spanning from her upcoming project You, Me, & Charlie to her upcoming scenes with Rachel to the new direction Quinn is headed towards. Kevin chats with us about The Trevor Project, a Jackson family tribute, Kanye West, kilts and more!
Hope you enjoy these interviews with Dianna and Kevin! I’m swamped with final exams this week, but I just wanted to get this up before “Hold on to Sixteen” airs because they both give us some inside scoop about the episode! The interviews with Adam, Damian, and Cameron will be up some time next week. Also look out for photos from the event including “funny faces” with Dianna, Kevin, Cameron.
(Bear with me guys! I was doing this all alone, so if the camera is a little shaky or my hand is in shot, sorry!) I still cannot believe this legitimately happened.
The Trevor Project is a figuratively and literally a lifeline for LGBTQ teens. If you are in need of some support, make sure to check out The Trevor Project.
It looks like Trouty Mouth has definitely been working hard while away from Lima! A behind the scenes video of Sam Evans‘ return to McKinely was just released on Glee‘s YouTube channel. Sam is back and he’s brought some super skimpy shorts with him as he is now a stripper going by the name White Chocolate. Chord Overstreet also discussed his first performance back saying that “Red Solo Cup” by Toby Keith is a really fun and funny to perform. Check out the behind the scenes video below:
What’re your thoughts on Sam’s return and new profession?
It looks like Santana is following the footsteps of her rumored mommy! The Troubletones’ Sectionals performance in the episode “Hold on to Sixteen” was just released on Glee’s Vevo account. It’s an epic mashup of the woman empowerment songs “Survivor” and “I Will Survive.” The former was originally sung by Destiny’s Child and the latter was orignally sung by Santana’s soon to be mom Gloria Estafen.
Not gonna lie, I’m not sure who I’m root for to win Sectionals. New Directions is my first love, but the Troubletones keeps nailing their performances. Plus, those outfits? Probably one of my favorites since season one’s Regionals.
Also released to Glee‘s Vevo was Sam Evan’s long awaited return to McKinley High. Sam played by Chord Overstreet sings the country song “Red Solo Cup” originally sung by Toby Keith’s. Check out both performances below:
I don’t know about you guys, but I am loving these weekly sneak peaks!
Check out the full performance of “I Kissed a Girl” from tomorrow night’s episode of the same name. Those girls sure show the boys how it’s done for this week’s music assignment: ‘lady music week’.
While many will still comment on to strange parallel between Daniel Radcliffe and Darren Criss‘s career paths, we can’t even begin to describe how excited we are for Darren’s Broadway debutin‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’this upcoming January!
Never heard of the show? Here’s a quick synopsis fromH2$’s webpage.
HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS (WITHOUT REALLY TRYING) is a classic Broadway musical comedy about a wily window washer, J. Pierrepont Finch, who, with the aid of a trusty self-help book How to Succeed in Business, enjoys a riotous rise up the corporate ladder.
Following in Harry Potter’s footsteps, Darren will take the lead role as J. Pierrepont Finch, and will star alongside Beau Bridges, who will be replacing John Larroquette as J.B. Biggley.
I’m sure all us Gleeks can agree that any hiatus of our beloved show is too long. No doubt you’re all twitching with excitement for tomorrow night’s episode, “I Kissed a Girl.” Well, feed your addiction early by watching this video sneak peek:
What are you guys hoping to see from this episode?

After much hype, the performance of the Adele mash-up that features songs “Rumor Has It” and “Someone Like You” was released earlier today on YouTube. All I can say is wow.
The performance, sung by Amber Riley and Naya Rivera, was the 300th performance done on Glee! Writer Ali Adler tweeted earlier that what happens after the performance will be surprising! I personally think this is easily the best song Glee has ever done!
What are your thoughts? Sound off in the comments!
We are so close! After surviving three grueling weeks without our beloved show, only a few more days seperate us from being reunited with our favorite TV show, and it feels so good! To hold us over, Fox posted a new video introducing us to Rory Flanagan, the foreign exchange student played by The Glee Project winner Damian McGinty.
In the video, Damian discusses his time on The Glee Project, singing in front of the cast for the first time, and working on the show, which he says is “a dream.”
We already know that Rory is a foreign exchange student living with Brittany and that causes some tension between the Irishman and Santana. It’s safe to say that we can get ready for some hilarious one-liners from the queen of mean.
We are so excited for Tuesday! Are you excited for Damian’s arrival?
Remember when Naya Riverahosted the GLAAD Awards back in May? While there, she lent her voice to a new PSA for GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, which was released today. She is accompanied by other LGBT activists and supporters such as Chaz Bono, the cast of Pretty Little Liars, and Vinny from The Jersey Shore, asking those watching to support LGBT individuals. GLAAD is a national organization that works on portraying LGBT individuals in a positive light in the entertainment industry. You can watch the PSA below.
What are your thoughts on the PSA? What organizations would you want the Glee cast to partake in?
As most of you already know, this Tuesday’s episode “Asian F” features a storyline that showcases our favorite dancer-not-singer, Mike Chang. In preparation for the big show, ClevverTV sat down with Harry Shum Jr. and talked everything Glee: this week’s episode, the future of Mike Chang, and Harry’s thoughts on Season 3. Enjoy!
GleekMaryP: I'm going to do a daily photo via Instagram, starting tomorrow & I'm going to try and do this for a year (or longer). Also, I made it home! 18 hours ago from Tweetbot for iPhone
