‘Bust a Move’ Preview
Here’s a preview of Matthew Morrison performing “Bust a Move” from next week’s episode, “Mash-Up” via Yahoo! TV.
Expect to find next week’s episode of “Glee,” titled “Mash-Up,” to be full of more outstanding musical performances, including a cover of Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” (performed by football jock Puck!) and even Sisqó’s one-hit wonder “Thong Song.” But in this episode, the spotlight is off the students and shining brightly on the Glee Club’s intrepid director, Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) — at least in this clip where he raps Young MC’s “Bust a Move,” showing the fellas how a leading man does it.
Mr. Shue (as the kids fondly call Will) sang “Gold Digger” by Kanye West in the show’s second episode, so we know the curly-haired, part-time Spanish teacher is no stranger to spittin’ rhymes and getting down with the b-boy moves. I love this “Bust a Move” preview, but I think it’s time for Mr. Shue to tackle a ballad. Perhaps one about his true feelings for McKinley High’s guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays)? Speaking of Pillsbury, the brooch-wearing germaphobe actually gets to show off her vocal talents in this upcoming episode. She sings “I Could Have Danced All Night” from “My Fair Lady.” Cue the “awwws” and stock up on the boxes of tissue!
