Stars of Glee have partnered with Vogue to promote the third annual ‘Fashion’s Night Out’, a global fashion event that combines the fashion of top designers with the star power of celebrities with the excitement of reinventing yourself with unique takes on the latest trend. “For the third year in a row, celebrities, designers, and stars will perform and mingle with shoppers as they take part in FNO-exclusive events and snap up special designs.”
FNO will feature designers and brands frequently seen on Glee characters and Glee stars alike, including Anthopologie, Betsey Johnson, J. Crew, and Juicy Couture, among others, during the September 8th event. But before that, Glee stars released a similarly stylish PSA. The PSA, which aired August 23, featured Lea Michele covering David Bowie’s song ‘Fashion’ along with the rest of the cast, in a video designed by Vogue editor Tabitha Simmons.
Follow Fashion’s Night Out on Twitter (@FNOnyc) or check out their homepage (fashionsnightout.com) for more information about the event, or check out the Glee cast’s music video below, and be sure to stay tuned for more from Fashion’s Night Out!
Glee fans will notice at least two new faces when season 3 returns. Joining the cast in recurring roles are Vanessa Lengies, as “mean girl” Sugar, and LaMarcus Tinker, a loveable “Bubba” type. Despite being completely tone-deaf, it’s rumored that Sugar will have her sights set on joining New Directions. Vanessa previously held a role on American Dreams and can more recently be seen on TNT’s HawthoRNe. Tinker’s character is a member of the football team and will be a love interest for Mercedes. Viewers may recognize LaMarcus from his parts on Friday Night Lights and Cougar Town.
It looks like Dianna’s gone pink! She was spotted in LA today, walking to her Audi, sporting a new hot pink hairdo.
What does this mean for Quinn? Does this have anything to do with the “completely diff outfit” that Iqbal Theba tweeted about? Post your speculation below!
Update: We are no longer accepting applications and have sent comfirmation emails for every application we received. If you did not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder before contacting us. We will be announcing the new additions within the next week or so. Thank you to everyone who applied!
Attention all Gleeks!GleeFan.com is looking to add some more members to its staff. The current staff members are all listed on our staff page at GleeFan.com/Staff, and you could be there too! We are one of the most established Glee fansites and we have been running since before Glee even premiered in May of ’09. We have had exclusive interviews with cast members and reported from a great number of Glee events.
However, with the massive amounts of Glee news, it’s very difficult for us to find time to post everything. I personally will be very busy balancing a maxed-out university course load, an internship, and working as well. So we need your help in order to make sure that GleeFan.com is constantly up to date with all the latest Glee news, interviews, and media.
We would like to build up a small team of News Posters to make sure that our Glee news is constantly up to date. We are hoping to add a couple writers by September so that we are fully ready for Glee’s Season 3 premiere. As a member of the GleeFan.com staff, you’ll also be a member of our Glee Network of fansites — the staff of which is a close group of Gleeks. :)
At this time, we will be accepting applicants until Friday, August 26th, but the earlier you submit you application, the easier it will be for us to review them. We hope that everyone who is interested will take the time to fill it out. Remember that you have just as much a chance as anyone else who applies, so please do so!
Fill out the following application, then copy and paste into an email. Send it to Rob@GleeFan.com! Be sure to put “GleeFan.com Application – [Your Name]” in the subject line. (Ex. GleeFan.com Application – Rob Black)
