Mike O’Malley discusses future on Glee

Posted by Dani on Feb-20-2011 under Mike O'Malley, News

http://www.gleefan.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/mike.jpg When news hit the web earlier this week about Mike O’Malley’s involvement in a new pilot for Fox, it prompted many Glee fans to ask one very important question: but what about Burt Hummel?

Have no fear, Glee fans, O’Malley’s casting as the lead of Family Album — a new, single-camera comedy — won’t interfere with his role as Kurt’s supportive father on Glee. He’ll work on both shows and is guaranteed to be in at least six episodes of Glee‘s third season and he’ll be back for the current season in the next episode, “Blame it on the Alcohol,” airing February 22nd.

Mike teases his upcoming scenes with Kurt by saying, “It’s some really great stuff. It’s the further stage of evolution of Burt needing to accept his son as who he is. They have some conversations Burt never thought he would have to have.”

Best of luck to Mike in his new endeavor and we’re happy to hear that Burt Hummel is sticking around on Glee!
