Go ahead and watch Iqbal Theba on ‘Red Eye’ with Greg Gutfeld which aired last night. It is a hilarious interview with our favorite principal discussing his character, possibility of pranks pulled on him on set, and any potential musical numbers in his future. Glee will once again be attending the San Diego Comic-Con! Since last year’s panel, Glee has exploded into an international phenomenon, winning at the Golden Globes, SAG awards, and People’s Choice Awards, just to name a few. The fanbase has exploded, twitter accounts gaining thousands of followers, and the actors have become household names. Some people questioned why Glee first came to the five-day long convention, but their return to Comic-Con was all but imminent. This year, the panel will feature actors that were absent from last year’s.

So, there’s good news and bad news. The good: Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, Heather Morris, and Naya Rivera will be attending the panel and answering fan questions, alongside Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy. The bad: Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith will be MIA. Jane Lynch will be absent as well; apparently she had a scheduling conflict.

Now, before you take drastic measures: “Last year, we brought down Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, and Dianna Agron. Because we have such a large cast and we can’t bring everyone every year, this year we decided to bring down some of the cast who didn’t get to go last summer,” A Fox spokesperson tells Entertainment Weekly.

Makes sense, right? To quote Sue Sylvester: “We’re giving everyone a chance to be a star! Find your voice, stomp that yard, all that crap!”

Most of you may remember a couple of months ago submitting your auditions to the MySpace Glee Auditions. The auditions were for for three potential spots in the upcoming Season 2. The top contenders would then become a part of a spin-off reality show contending for the three spots. The fate of that reality show?  Quietly shelved back with the rest of the ‘potential’ reality show ideas. This comes to us courtesy of an exclusive article from New York Magazine.

Ryan Murphy and his team decided the idea would only eventually side-track them from planning out Season 2, which we are all anxiously awaiting. Fox Executives agreed, despite their earlier remark that the reality show would be a first of its kind.

Now, for all of you that took part in the auditions, don’t fret! The videos were all collected and they will announce a few winners who will get a guest spot on Glee for one episode. In the end, everyone wins!

I’m posting today to tell you about the amazing world of Firefly you may or may not be missing out on. If you’re into Glee, Sci-Fi, westerns, Nathan Fillon, or heck, if all you have is an appreciation for good writing, you’ll fall in love with Firefly just like I did.

Speculation about guest stars has been going on for weeks now (John Stamos, Taye Diggs, Daniel Radcliffe, etc.), but here’s an officially confirmed recurring role to be announced for season two! Filipino pop star Charice is said to be joining the cast as “a foreign exchange student whose killer vocals get Rachel (Lea Michele) contemplating murder,” so says Ausiello.

Charice apparently shot down rumors of appearing on Glee via her twitter, but as it turns out, she later auditioned and made it!

Remember those three new characters that we learned about way back when? Could this be that “Eve Harrington-esque” rival for Rachel, who was said to join the cast alongside a male Mercedes and a boyfriend for Kurt? Most likely!

For those of you who have never heard of Charice until now, here’s a brief blurb via her Wikipedia page:

Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco (born May 10, 1992), best known as Charice (a portmanteau of her first two names) or Charice Pempengco, is a Filipino international singing sensation who rose to popularity through YouTube. Dubbed by Oprah Winfrey as the Most Talented Girl in the World, she is the first Asian in history to land in the Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.

Daniel Radcliffe told Access Hollywood last Thursday that he’s interested in a Glee cameo! The 20-year-old Harry Potter actor is making his return to Broadway (after a brief visit to the stage in the straight play Equus) in the musical revival of How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. With the Harry Potter films just about finished, Radcliffe is setting his sights on musical theater, and possibly Glee!

When asked whether he’d be interested in taking his singing and dancing ambitions to the small screen, Daniel replied: “Yes, absolutely, I would consider it. I mean of course… it’s an amazing show and I [would] obviously be honored to be asked. But, I’m not sure I’m ready for that yet. They’ve got standards like Kristin Chenoweth!”

It’s so enjoyable to watch and to see a show for people who to sing and dance. Plus, I love how they integrated Idina into the show, and I would love to be a guest.”
