GleeFan Exclusive: Chris Colfer Q&A

Posted by Rob on Nov-28-2009 under Chris Colfer, GleeFan.com Exclusives, Interviews

Chris Colfer After reading through hundreds and hundreds of questions that were sent in, Tinkers and I were able to pick 10 questions to send to Chris Colfer! I hope you enjoy the Q&A, and hopefully we can have more in the future. The entire Q&A is posted after the jump. Feel free to comment about it below!

A big thanks to Chris Colfer for being kind enough to answer our questions so quickly! :)

Q: “If the Glee cast were to ever go on an international tour, which country would you most like to visit? :D”
– Ayesha

A: How could I only pick one? England, France, and Black Forest Germany. I’d also like to go skiing on the Matterhorn in Switzerland and eat my weight in pasta in Italy. Knowing me I’d probably sneak over to Austria and find the Sound of Music filming locations.

Q: “Do you think it will feel different when you go back to filming? Will you be more nervous filming now that Glee has been so wildly successful? Is there more pressure?”
– Rose

A: Yikes, now that you mention it, there might be! We filmed the first 13 just hoping it’d be successful and hoping there would be lots of fans. I think now that we’ve found success and have seen how much the show is loved by you guys it’ll feel like what we’re doing has more purpose to it. (Insert “Purpose” from Avenue Q)

Q: “I bet it was hard, performing in a wheelchair for the majority of the episode [Wheels]! What was that like? Were you nervous about the fan reactions–especially the ones from those bound to a wheelchair themselves?”
– Jennifer

A: We all had major biceps by the time that fiasco was over! We managed to learn it in two days and film it in one! (No idea how we pulled that off!) That episode dealt with a lot of sensitive issues that I think were handled beautifully. Thankfully the feeling has been mutual with all the groups it related too.

Matthew Morrison : ‘I Want To Do It All’
by Robert Masello

His own teen years were surprisingly positive.
“All the kids in the cast tell me they hated high school, but I had the best time. I guess I was one of the popular kids. I played soccer, I was class president—I even dated the homecoming queen.”

It’s as if the part of Will Schuester was written for him.
“If I could have written a part for myself, this would have been it. It showcases everything I’ve trained for, and it’s the kind of teaching job I could easily have wound up doing myself in real life.”

Drawing admiring glances from fans.
“This is certainly the most recognized I’ve ever been in my life, but that isn’t necessarily the most positive thing. I don’t like to go out to parties or clubbing, and I kind of like my anonymity. More people saw the pilot of Glee than saw me in my entire 10-year career on Broadway. But people feel more of a connection to you because they see you in their living rooms.”

TV Guide Chats with Guest-Star Eve

Posted by Rob on Nov-24-2009 under Cast & Crew, Interviews

Eve on GleeTVGuide.com had the chance to talk with rapper Eve about her upcoming guest role on Glee! Read the full interview using the link below as they go on to talk about how the role was originally written for Whitney Houston, what Eve would sing on the show if she could, and more!

In this Wednesday’s episode of Glee (9/8c on Fox), New Directions finally meets some of the competition for sectionals: Jane Adams Academy, led by Grace Hitchens (guest-star Eve). The rapper-actress took a few minutes from her tour in Dubai — her fourth album “Flirt” drops later this year — to dish on her guest stint, including the plot to take down the McKinley High glee club.

Working as a glee club coach from a competing reform school, “she gets approached about trying to get rid of the glee club at the school,” Eve said. “You see her take these girls to the school and they do this ‘Bootylicious’ number, which blows the competition away. When you see this number, you’re going to die. It’s one of those things where you’re like, ‘How can they make this happen?’ but it’s also hilarious at the same time.”
