Australian website TV FIX had the chance to talk to Lea Michele and Cory Monteith when they were on their promotional tour in Australia. Here’s an excerpt from their spoiler filled article.
Lea and Cory dropped some tasty tidbits about future episodes, revealing that the aforementioned romantic tension between Rachel and Finn will be complicated by the presence of his cheerleader girlfriend Quinn (Dianna Agron), and that fans of the show can start looking forward to some big musical numbers.“There’s ‘Somebody to Love’ by Queen,” reveals Lea. “And Cory and I do ‘Smile’ by Lily Allen which is really cute. We also a Rolling Stones number. We do a lot of mash-ups, when you take to songs and mash them together — in one episode the boys do a mash-up and the girls do a mash-up, and that’s really cool.”
They’re especially looking forward to the 13th episode, which caps off the first half of season one.
“The glee club will be competing in sectionals [a sort of semifinal],” Lea says. “And we do a really great number — I’m not allowed to say what it is. But there’s some Barbara Streisand in the episode. There’s some kissing, there’s some fighting. There’s some crying.”
“And some cats come out of the bag,” hints Cory. “Two big cats.”

Fox has just released a promo for this week’s episode, Preggers, and it looks like it’s going to be very interesting one. Kurt’s coming out storyline deepens as his father catches him dancing along to Beyoncé’s Single Ladies. Watch the promo video for a sneak peak at the episode which airs this Wednesday at 9/8c pm.
Glee has been picked up for the back nine! This means that Fox ordered nine more episodes to be produced. Those 9 plus the initial 13 that they have already filmed means 22 episodes in total for season one! This is great news, since that means the ratings have been going well. Hopefully they’ll order a season two! Fingers crossed ;)
Here’s a quote from Watch with Kristin:
And thank goodness, too, because Glee star Jane Lynch recently told us, “I am a mature, experienced professional who will probably go off into a corner and cry if the show is not picked up for nine more.” And according to the radioactively charismatic Amber Riley, “If we get picked up for nine more, we’ll go back in January.” Since that if is now a when, expect to see the final nine on the air in late March or early April.
But what’s to come in the remaining 10 produced episodes? We caught up with the cast recently, and they spilled lots of secrets. Read on to find out about an all-wheelchair dance number, a Lindy Hop between an unlikely pair and which two wildly different characters might shock you by hooking up…
